The Panasonic AW-HE145 is an HD PTZ camera with a 1-type Full-HD MOS sensor. It has a 20x optical zoom and a 75.1° horizontal angle of view. Panasonic built it for low light, such as stage events and church services. It outputs 3G-SDI and HDMI, and it streams H.264, H.265, SRT and NDI|HX2. The AW-HE130 is its discontinued predecessor in the same HD class. It has three 1/2.86-type MOS sensors and a 20x F1.6 zoom. ### How Showcaller connects to the Panasonic AW-HE145

Showcaller connects through the Showcaller Bridge App, a small app on a computer on the show network. It sends Panasonic’s own IP control commands over HTTP, on port 80 by default. Then the operator asks in plain words, by voice or in chat. For example, they can say **camera 2, recall preset 4** or **send camera 1 home**. They can also say **pan left slowly** and then **stop**. Before it stores a preset, Showcaller asks the operator to confirm. After a move or a mode change, it reads the camera’s state back where the camera reports it.

### Streaming on the HE145 and HE130

Here the two cameras differ a lot. The HE145 streams H.264 and H.265 and lists SRT and MPEG2-TS over UDP. It also offers NDI|HX2 with firmware later than version 1.13. In contrast, Panasonic lists only H.264 IP streaming for the HE130, on up to four channels. So on the HE130, the NDI and H.265 Tool Functions do not apply. Before you switch, ask Showcaller which modes the camera supports. Every stream change waits for the operator to confirm it. Presets, pan, tilt and zoom work the same way on both cameras.

### Tool Functions by plan

Starter covers camera status, presets 1 to 100, home and exact positioning, and reboot. It also covers every stream read. Pro adds pan, tilt and zoom at a chosen speed. It also adds focus and iris modes and the iris level. In addition, Pro adds stream mode, codec, NDI, bitrate, frame rate and resolution.
