grandMA3 consoles are now wired into Showcaller, controlled directly over OSC UDP.
grandMA3 voice control, cue by cue
Lighting cues tend to ride alongside everything else in a show rather than existing on their own timeline: a camera cut, a scene change, and a lighting state often need to land within the same breath. Being able to ask for a specific cue or look by voice, without breaking attention to step over to the console, is exactly the gap this closes.
As with every integration, this isn’t a fire-and-forget command. Tally confirms the console actually reports the state change before Showcaller calls it done, so if a cue doesn’t take, you hear about it immediately rather than noticing the room’s still in the wrong look two bars later.
grandMA3 voice control joins grandMA2 (controlled over TCP Telnet: a different protocol, same reliability) along with vMix, Blackmagic ATEM, Behringer X32/Midas M32, Behringer XAir/Midas MR, Shure Wireless, Sennheiser EW-DX, Panasonic PTZ, NDI, Bitfocus Companion, Netgear AV, QLab, Allen & Heath SQ, and Ubiquiti AV.
