Showcaller Now Talks to Sennheiser EW-DX

Sennheiser EW-DX EM 2, EM 2 Dante, and EM 4 Dante receivers are now fully visible and controllable through Showcaller, over Sennheiser’s own SSCv2 interface.

Sennheiser’s EW-DX digital wireless line — EM 2, EM 2 Dante, and EM 4 Dante — is now fully controllable and monitorable through Showcaller, over Sennheiser’s own SSCv2 HTTPS interface.

Why the Sennheiser EW-DX integration uses Sennheiser’s native interface

Same story as wireless monitoring generally: the value isn’t just being able to change a setting by voice, it’s not having to physically check a rack to know what’s already happening. Channel status, battery levels, RF conditions — all visible the moment you ask, because Pulse is already watching it.

Using Sennheiser’s native SSCv2 interface rather than a workaround means this integration talks to the receivers the way they’re actually designed to be talked to, which matters for both reliability and how much of the hardware’s real feature set is reachable.

Sennheiser EW-DX joins Shure Wireless, vMix, Blackmagic ATEM, Behringer X32/Midas M32, Behringer XAir/Midas MR, MA Lighting grandMA2/grandMA3, Panasonic PTZ, NDI, Bitfocus Companion, Netgear AV, QLab, Allen & Heath SQ, and Ubiquiti AV.
