QLab voice control, in practice
This integration isn’t about replacing QLab’s interface, it’s about not needing to touch it for the routine stuff. Fire the next cue. Jump to a specific cue number. Stop everything if something’s going wrong. All of it by voice, while your hands and eyes stay on the show instead of the laptop.
That last one matters more than it sounds like it should. A panic-stop you have to physically reach for is a panic-stop that’s a half-second too slow. A panic-stop you can just say isn’t.
Like every integration Showcaller ships, this runs through Tally’s verification path: a cue trigger isn’t considered done until QLab actually reports the change, not just because the OSC command went out. If a cue doesn’t fire the way it should, you find out immediately instead of mid-scene.
