Elevating Multi-Room Event Management: Showcaller Skybox Makes Its Real-World Debut at Gosec 2026

We are thrilled to share a massive milestone for the team here at Showcaller.ai. At Gosec 2026, we ran the first live, real-world test of our Skybox feature. We also tested a set of new hardware and software integrations.

The live events industry is fast-paced, and the margin for error is razor-thin. We built Showcaller to give technical teams the tools they need for flawless shows. After seeing it on the ground at Gosec, the future of event management looks brighter and much less stressful.

Enter Skybox: The Ultimate Bird’s-Eye View for TDs

If you are a Technical Director or an event manager, you know the struggle of overseeing a multi-room event. Keeping tabs on breakout rooms, keynotes, and workshops used to mean running from door to door. It meant a barrage of radio chatter, or checking every room by hand to make sure things ran smoothly.

Skybox was built to change that.

During Gosec 2026, Skybox provided event managers and TDs with a high-level, comprehensive overview of several rooms simultaneously. Instead of reactive troubleshooting, Skybox offers proactive monitoring. At a single glance, the team could see the real-time status of every room on the floor. If an issue was brewing, like an audio dip or a video routing error, Skybox warned the team early.

It takes the guesswork out. Technical leads can monitor everything from one central dashboard, without leaving their post.

Expanding Our Ecosystem: Four New Integrations Tested Live

A control platform is only as good as the gear it can talk to. That’s why we didn’t just test Skybox at Gosec 2026. We also ran the first live test of four major Showcaller integrations.

Our ecosystem connected with some of the industry’s most trusted hardware and software. It brought everything under the Showcaller umbrella. The live integrations included:

  • vMix: Voice control for live video production and streaming.
  • Allen & Heath SQ5: Direct integration with one of the most popular digital audio mixing consoles in the corporate AV world.
  • BirdDog SDI4K Encoders: Monitoring and control of NDI encoder settings and sources.
  • Panasonic UE150 PTZ Cameras: Smooth, responsive control of industry-standard 4K PTZ cameras.

Showcaller connected our software to these key pieces of production gear. That let the crew monitor, manage, and orchestrate their technical setup with ease.

The Verdict from the Tech Team

The true test of any event technology is how it performs in the hands of the people running the show. We can build all the features in the world. If they don’t make a technician’s life easier on show day, we haven’t done our job.

We are proud to share that the on-site techs at Gosec 2026 gave overwhelmingly positive feedback. The crew was impressed by what the product could do. They said their workflows became much smoother. They also said Skybox greatly reduced the mental load of managing a sprawling, multi-room event.

What’s Next?

Gosec 2026 proved that when you give event professionals the right tools, you don’t just solve problems, you prevent them. We are taking the fantastic feedback from this live test and continuing to refine and expand what Showcaller can do.

A huge thank you to the technical crew at Gosec 2026 for helping us put Showcaller to the ultimate test.
