Behringer X32 Producer
The X32 Producer is the rack-mountable X32 with motorized faders. Showcaller AI gives it a voice and chat surface over its Ethernet port. It covers mutes, levels and mix buses. It also covers DCAs, preamps, EQ and scenes.

Overview
The Behringer X32 Producer with Showcaller
The Behringer X32 Producer is a rack-mountable digital console with the full X32 mix engine. It has 32 input channels, 8 aux channels and 8 FX return channels. It also has 16 aux buses, 6 matrices and main LRC. On top sit 17 motorized faders and a 5-inch screen. Local I/O is 16 Midas-designed preamps and 8 XLR outputs. Two AES50 ports take up to six S16 stage boxes. Showcaller AI runs the Behringer X32 Producer by voice or chat, through its rear Ethernet port.
Why the Behringer X32 Producer suits Showcaller
A rack-mounted console often sits in a side rack, away from the operator. That is where voice and chat control helps. Showcaller connects through the Showcaller Bridge App on the show network, with OSC on port 10023. Then plain requests become Tool Function calls. For example, say mute the lectern mic or main down 2 dB. You can also say more keys in bus 6 or is the main muted. The Behringer X32 and Midas M32 integration page lists every Tool Function.
What differs on the Producer
Behringer’s spec table for the Producer lists a 5-inch screen and no channel LCD screens. By contrast, the X32 Compact lists 17 of them. However, channel names and colors are console settings either way. So Showcaller can still set them, and the X32 apps show them. Also, the 16 local XLR inputs are the Producer’s own preamps. On Pro, Showcaller sets and reads their gain and 48V phantom power. Phantom, scene and effects send changes are confirmed with the operator first.
Tool Functions by plan
Starter covers channel faders, mutes and names on channels 1 to 32. It also covers the main stereo output and the 16 mix buses, with each channel’s send to them. Pro adds the 8 DCA groups, preamp gain and phantom power. It also adds polarity, high-pass filter, channel EQ, gate and compressor. Enterprise adds effects sends and returns, channel colors and scenes 0 to 99. That matches the Producer’s 100 scenes. For full specs, see Behringer’s X32 Producer product page.

FAQ
Questions about the Behringer X32 Producer
Can Showcaller name channels on the X32 Producer?
Yes. Renaming is on Starter and channel colors are on Enterprise. They are console settings, so the X32 apps show them.
Which preamps can Showcaller adjust on the X32 Producer?
The preamp Tool Functions address the console's own preamps. On the Producer those are the 16 XLR inputs on the unit. Gain and phantom power need the Pro plan.
Can Showcaller recall scenes on the X32 Producer?
Yes, on the Enterprise plan. Showcaller recalls a saved scene (0-99, as numbered on the console) or saves the current state as a named scene. It asks you to confirm first.
Does Showcaller control the matrices?
No. The X32 Producer has 6 matrices, but they are not part of the Showcaller Tool Functions. Showcaller covers the main output and the 16 mix buses.
Which Showcaller plan do I need?
Starter has 14 Tool Functions for diagnostics and channel faders, mutes and names. They also cover the main stereo output and the mix buses. Pro adds 17 more Tool Functions for DCA groups, preamps and input, and channel EQ. They also cover gates and compressors. Enterprise adds FX and advanced routing and scene management (7 more). Each plan includes the Tool Functions of the plans below it.
